MY PAP PICS: SIAN LLOYD: 'I never wanted to be a weathergirl'

Bugged out
When I was on I'm A Celebrity In Australia, last May, some of us had to eat all kinds of creepy-crawlies in the bushtucker trials. I was lucky and escaped that, but when I appeared on Gaby And Terry, I was cajoled into eating bugs. Terry had some too. They weren't too bad actually - quite crispy and seasoned.
Bush buddies
Here I am with Antony Worral Thompson, one of my fellow I'm A Celebrity contestants. He looks like he's gone native in that headband, doesn't he? The whole experience was a bit grim. I always watch every series now, though, and I've done the commentary for GMTV and I'm sure I'll be glued to the new series. That's the way to do it - watch the buggers suffering while you're at home, eating Haagen- Dazs.

Accidental weathergirl
I ended up doing weather by accident - I was working in the newsroom at ITN and they were looking for someone to join the weather team. I wasn't very keen, but they persuaded me to give it a try and I've been doing it ever since. It's true how the British love talking about the weather, though. It's amazing how many people stop me and want to have really long conversations about it. They say things like, 'My sister's getting married - do you think the marquee will stay up?' They will talk about it till the cows come home.
Happy shopper
This is on one of my shopping expeditions. I look happy here - that's probably because I'm talking to my fiance, Lembit Opik. Or it could be because I've just been to Selfridges - I'm obsessed with it. I love that everything is under one roof, plus it's really close to where I live. Alas, that means I end up buying all my groceries there and doing terrible things like spending pounds 3 on a loaf of bread. Weather forecasters don't get a dress allowance and designer clothes don't come cheap, so I have to shop carefully. I'm the queen of the sales. I think on this day I'd managed to get a pounds 300 jacket for pounds 80, which I was feeling very smug about.
Right royal risque business
Prince Charles is pointing his finger and making a joke - probably at my expense. We were at the premiere of the film Final Fantasy at a cinema in Cardiff. I can assure you I am wearing a flesh-coloured bra and a body thing underneath my outfit, but yes, it does look risque. It's the camera flash, honestly. You check in the mirror and think you look fine, then see photos like this and just scream in horror.
Cat woman
For the premiere of The Avengers, you had to dress according to the theme of the movie. I decided to go at the last minute - I was having lunch with the LWT costume mistress and she whizzed this up for me. To my great astonishment, I won the best costume prize, which was a crate of champagne. Note my claws - you can almost hear me purr. I liked that outfit. I'm still waiting for another chance to wear it.
Fairground attraction
What a classic holiday shot. That's my mum, Barbara, my baby sister, Ceri, my dad, Trevor, and me at a fairground in Porthcawl, in South Wales. I grew up in Neath, and I like going back to see my parents, although they love to come to London too. I do adore going abroad though. Earlier this year, Lembit and I went to Australia. It was a huge contrast to I'm A Celebrity, because we stayed in five- star hotels.
My Liberal man
I really like this picture. I think my expression says it all. Lembit is the Lib Dem MP for Montgomeryshire in Wales and we had just been to a ceremony to mark the renovation of the County War Memorial. It was very cold, and we were on our way to lunch and hoping for a bowl of hot soup. We've been together nearly three years and we're waiting to plan our wedding. It's a bit Blair-dependent - if the election is next May, we'll get married in the summer. Do I vote Lib Dem? Do you know, no one's ever asked me that before! I suppose people tend to assume I do. However, I think I will keep my politics private.
