Girl next door

This is one of my favourite pictures of all time. It was taken after I was pulled out of the stands at a football game in my hometown in Canada. My picture was flashed on to the screen, and that was my first big break. I got a job advertising beer, and this was the first photo from it. I'm about 21 years old but I look like I'm 10 - I look like my son, Brandon. I was such an innocent kid. I was a tomboy, I never wore make-up and I was always shy. I didn't even want to wear a bathing suit.

The ex factor

My ex-husband, Tommy Lee, and I were in Monte Carlo - we'd just got back together, probably for the third or fourth time. I'm single now, but dating. It's fun, but a little awkward now my sons are older. I don't want to bring anyone home in case it doesn't work out. Tommy and I are still really close. If you loved someone once, how can you not love them any more, unless something horrible happened. He'll be in my life forever because of the kids.

Being a wrap star

Goodness me. It looks like this was taken at a soccer game. I must have been watching my boys play. The kids love soccer - they also play baseball, tennis and basketball. I guess it must have been cold as I'm wrapped up. Are you sure that's me? I look like a man. That is just wrong! I look absolutely disgusting. Is that what I'm going to look like when I'm old?

Beach babe

Ah, me in my Baywatch suit. It's one of those awful press pictures they used to take at the start of the year. I'm sucking it in, sticking it out. My hair is very white too. It looks very strange, a lot lighter than it is now. I still have one of those swimsuits. I kept a few, but one was stolen by a woman who broke into my beach house. She was caught wearing it under her clothes. I didn't want it back after that. I haven't seen David Hasselhoff in a long time, but I heard he's doing great. I love David.

My boys

This was taken at the premiere of Spy Kids in Hollywood. We went in the back way as I was told there wouldn't be any paparazzi, but I guess there were. Look at how cute the boys are. I miss them so much when I'm away from them. Brandon is eight now and pretty tall, and Dylan is six. I always put them first - they are my life. I'm lunch monitor at their school. I watch them in the playground, read them stories, I love it. I cook, clean, drop them off at school - just like a regular mom.

Lippy chicks

Liz Hurley and I went to the Oscars party together in 2002. We were like Beauty and the Beast - she looked beautiful and I looked completely insane. We had a great time though. We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend, the photographer David LaChappelle.

Puppy love

I love this shot. It was taken by the photographer Ellen Von Unwerth as I was leaving a shoot for French Vogue. That's my friend's dog. I'm passionate about animal welfare. I'm a spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). I'm working on a non- leather range at the moment, including shoes, luggage and handbags.

Flights of fancy

Oh my lord, I look like a monster. Look at those muscles sticking out of my arms. I look so gross! That's awful. This was taken at my home in Santa Monica. I think I was taking my kids to an appointment somewhere - and I'm throwing paper planes in the driveway.
