Sunday Mirror, Dec 5, 2004 by QUENTIN WILLSON

BRITISH Car Auctions are selling a 1969 Morris Mini Cooper S that's spent most of its life in a police compound after being seized from an associate of the infamous Kray gang. All white with a Downton engine tuning conversion, it's only done 7,249 miles and is claimed to be in perfect original condition.

Expected to fetch between pounds 11,000 and pounds 12,500, this cute 60s curio goes under the hammer on December 6. Contact BCA Blackbushe on 01252 878555.
