Sunday Mirror, Jul 10, 2005
THE Ulster Council are preparing to cap a highly profitable championship campaign with a potential EUR1m take from today's football final at Croke Park.
It's anticipated that the crowd for the Armagh/Tyrone decider should top last year's attendance of 67,000 which garnered record gate receipts.
Ulster Council PRO Martin McAviney said: "The attendances have generally been up this year and of course the replays have drawn big crowds too.
"The bottom line is we're able to cater for demand and all the money will go straight back into Ulster development."
