IT'S the war of the Primroses... and just whose side is Radar on?

In one corner, the mama of the infamous bed-swapping set from London's Primrose Hill, is party girl-turned-teetotaller, Sadie Frost, 42.

In the other is cocaine "shamed" party girl Kate Moss, 32.

The promiscuous posse have jetted off for a girlie break in the Maldives. But I've heard it's all turned sour between Sadie and Kate... because Sadie wants to get up at the crack of dawn and be healthy, whereas Mossy wants to party non-stop and find herself a man.

My spy tells me: "Their girlie break has turned into chaos and one big argument the moment they stepped off the plane. Sadie has been screaming at Kate, telling her to grow up. And Kate has been screaming back at Sadie non-stop. They are returning this week, but Kate's gang have been saying it'll be a miracle if they don't kill each other before then!"

I'm told Sadie's camp, which includes sister Holly and Rhys Ifans' ex-girlfriend, Jess Morris, have been getting up early each morning for their daily run on the beach, followed by a two-hour yoga session.

The healthy trio have also been drinking pomegranate juice and three litres of water a day. Vegetables, fruit and steamed fish is the only thing on the menu since Jude Law's ex-missus, gave up the booze in May.

Meanwhile, Mossy's posse - which includes party girl Davinia Taylor, Meg Mathews and Fran Cutler - have been sleeping till 1pm, drinking cocktails all afternoon and smoking for Britain.

Once night falls, it's champagne all the way and man-eater Kate on the prowl for a hunky fella she likes the look of.

No wonder the camps are at loggerheads!

I'm told the feuding pair had an almighty slanging match when Mossy moaned about - wait for it - the water being too choppy to swim in and the beautiful island being far too dull.

My spy added: "Sadie was furious. She told Kate's gang to stop moaning all the time, act their age and behave like mothers.

"Kate's camp then told Sadie's camp they're becoming self- righteous and dull. It got very heated. Being trapped on the island together has made it even worse."

This is not the first time the girlies have been at war with each. The pair, who have a knack of rubbing each other up the wrong way, had a big fall out over Sadie's drunkenness at Kate Moss's 30th birthday bash.
