KATIE Price was so thrilled with the bras specially made for her honeymoon, she decided to team up with the makers Panache to launch her own range.

THERE'S never a dull moment being Katie's mum. I get lumbered doing things, as I want to help like any mum.

Her husband Pete was standing nearby when I tried on the undies and went: "Oh my God!"

I said to him: "Don't look at your mother-in-law in her underwear."

He joked: "I'm only looking you in the eyes."

At one point I said: "Absolutely not, I don't want to do it - I'm fat and out of condition."

I had quite a major operation and I couldn't exercise for months. Also my mum died, so it was a terrible year.

But I thought, 'In for a penny, in for a pound,' and I was pleasantly surprised.

I HAVE never done anything like this before. When I got home my husband, Chris, asked if I could put the underwear on. He used to call me "bird" now he calls me "supermodel".

But I couldn't eat before the shoot as I was too nervous.

Katie and I had a boob job from the same surgeon about eight years ago and I went from a 32A to a much better looking 34DD.

We went to her wedding and my sons play with Katie's kids.

Other mums at school have said: "Good on you, I'd never have dared."

It's not often as a mum-of-three I get pampered. It was wonderful.

I'VE known Katie for three years after she walked into my salon just before she did I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

When she asked me to do this I must have been having a really slim day as I just said: "Yes".

Shortly beforehand we went to Katie's to discuss the shoot.

It's probably every man's fantasy as we saw the range for the first time and tried it on - it was the ultimate lingerie party, although with a nice cup of tea.

We had a right laugh and it was really empowering. I did get a rush of nerves, but thought, 'What the Hell I'm doing it'.

I'VE known Katie for 13 years but I've never done anything like this before. She wanted normal women, real people, different ages and different shapes, not stick-thin models.

It is nice to be glamorous for the day and wear her very sexy underwear without being too over the top.

I'd like a more toned stomach, but that's just working harder at the gym. I am not really an extrovert person and worried I'd look all right.

I was up early and just had a chocolate bar in the car I was so nervous with excitement. Katie told us how to stand so we looked our best. Danny liked the look.

KATIE and I clicked when we met through a nanny agency.

When I first started working for her, I asked if she thought I was ugly and she was like,

"No, why?". I had read she wanted an ugly Mrs Doubtfire-type nanny so Pete wouldn't fancy her.

So when she asked me to model then I knew she can't think that, and I was flattered.

I've never modelled before and only my boyfriends and my sister have seen me in underwear. I felt shy at first, but seeing everyone else doing it made it better.

Katie told me to enjoy it and make the most of it, and I wanted to have fun making all my friends jealous.

KATIE and I have been friends since we were 16 as we started modelling at the same time.

She'd ring saying: "We are going to a premiere." And I'd say: "I might stay in and watch TV."

Then I'd give in, saying: "I'll come as long as we're home for 2am." But inevitably we'd still be partying at 5am.

I was never a big drinker, but instead of a single she'd get me a triple.

I'm very comfortable in my body, but I also believe if we all looked the same, wouldn't it be boring?

Before the shoot I had a chocolate muffin, chocolate croissant and a coffee in a very un-model-like way.

ABOUT six years ago I had breast cancer then needed reconstruction on my left breast - the one you can see.

I wanted to show other women who've gone through the same that you can have a life and enjoy yourself - and wear pretty lingerie.

Katie and Amy have been a great support. Being around them helped give me back the confidence I lost.

During the shoot, I was more worried about not falling over in those 3in heels. Katie told me: "You look fab, have a brilliant day."

My daughter was a bit embarrassed, but I certainly wasn't.

KATIE'S incredibly easy-going and we always have a laugh. She absolutely loves having girly chats and catching up on gossip.

I don't hate my body, although I'd like to improve the tone of my inner thighs.

Suddenly we were minutes from walking out into the public glare, and thought, 'It's too late to do anything now.'
