CARL 'Ingo' Johanneson fired a warning to his British super- featherweight rivals by stopping Michael Gomez in the sixth round of a savage brawl in Doncaster.

The British champion is now due to defend against mandatory challenger Kevin Mitchell, the unbeaten Londoner guided by top promoter Frank Warren.
