Football: Hutch: I'm just luvvin' it

CELTIC new boy Ben Hutchinson booted burgers into touch for good when tasted life at a Premiership club and vowed to pursue a dream that has arrived at Parkhead.
Gordon Strachan plundered him from dithering Middlesboro in last month's transfer window and the Nottingham-born 20-year-old, who worked in McDonald's as a kid, is still pinching himself to make sure it's true.
In two years, the striker, who scored on his October debut for Boro, will have gone from playing in front of crowds of 20 at non- league Arnold Town to 60,000 Celtic packed houses.
And when you throw in a Champions League date with Barcelona in two weeks, it's not difficult to understand that his young world has been turned upside down.
He looks certain to be on the bench this afternoon at Pittodrie, where Celtic continue playing catch-up behind Rangers in the SPL against underachievers Aberdeen.
Hutchinson said: "I expected Middlesboro to come to me for talks at the start of the year.
"They knew that I was free of contract in the summer but, to this day, I never heard from them.
"I had heard there was interest from some clubs, mostly from the lower leagues, but when Celtic came in late the whole thing just took off.
"It's a massive opportunity for me. I could never have imagined that I would be here at this stage in my career.
"I have had knockbacks over the years from clubs but never gave up.
"This is what I wanted to do. Quitting was never an option."
