What the fans think

Sunday Mirror,  Feb 10, 2008

AN ONLINE poll by the FSF, which represents 150,000 fans, produced an overwhelming 94 per cent opposition to the plan to take Premier League games abroad.

Arsenal fan Adam Brown from Northampton pledged: "The Premier League and Arsenal won't see another penny from me until this insulting plan is dropped."

Reading fan Michele Law said: "I haven't missed a Reading game for four years home or away. Game 39 forgets about the loyal fans who spend thousands of pounds a year following their side."

Andrew Southam of Leicester warned: "If this is given the green light, I will cancel my Sky subscription so you never, ever receive a penny more of my money."
