Stu and Charlize to wed

HOLLYWOOD sweethearts Stuart Townsend and Charlize Theron are finally set to walk down the aisle.

The sexy couple already consider themselves married and wear rings to prove it. But they have never gone through a proper ceremony.

A pal of the lovebirds said: "Charlizein particular wants to make it official.

"Her mother has missed out on seeing her as a bride and Charlize wants to put that right."

Howth-born Stuart, 35, and Oscar-winner Charlize, 32, have both declared themselves husband and wife - if not legally.

Stuart, who met the stunner on the set of 2002 crime thriller Trapped, has insisted: "I didn't do a church wedding or anything, but we're married.

"We love each other and we want to spend our lives together. I don't need a certificate.

The pair both wear rings to mark their unofficial union.

No definite date has apparently been fixed for the official ceremony.

The couple's friend said: "It won't be yet.

"Charlize is too busy with her movie projects."
