Shower idea is a washout
Sunday Mirror, Apr 6, 2008 by STEPHEN MAGUIRE
DUBLIN City Council is considering plans to build public showers across the capital for people to wash and go.
The idea is that people without their own washing facilities can simply pop into a cubicle and come out smelling of roses.
The scheme is remarkably similar to the council's free bicycle plan which aims to allow visitors to use bikes and then leave them back at parking bays.
They're remarkably similar for a couple of reasons - they both stink and they're both never going to happen.
