Wild Side Lou's 3rd wedding

LEGENDARY rocker Lou Reed has married for the third time at the age of 66.

The former Velvet Underground frontman wed long-time lover, the singer and performance artist Laurie Anderson, 60.

They married in a "small, non-denomination ceremony in Boulder, Colorado", his manager told Us magazine.

He said the April 12 service was "private and intimate", with just two friends present as witnesses.

It is the first marriage for Anderson, whose eight-minute single O Superman made No2 in the UK charts in 1981.

Reed, whose hits include Walk On The Wild Side, and Anderson have lived together since 1995.

They celebrated in New York at a party thrown by photographer Timothy Greenfield Sanders.

Laurie will start a rare series of concerts in London on April 30.
