Rachel's Nancy vote plea

DESPITE being the bookies favourite, Nancy hopeful Rachel Tucker is dreading that her popularity could backfire tonight.

The Belfast lass, who has wooed the I'd Do Anything judges and viewers alike with her show-stopping perform-ances, is worried.

She said: "The public might stop voting for me because they think I don't need the votes but that's not the case at all - I need every single vote."

You would think that being favourite to win with William Hill and Paddy Power bookmakers would give heart to the 26-year-old singing sensation - but she insists she isn't taking anything for granted.

The brunette beauty is not taking any comfort in the rave reviews from judges including theatre musical maestro Andrew Lloyd Webber and Denise Van Outen.

"It's like the X factor or Pop Idol. Everyone thought Gareth Gates would win hands down so we'll vote for Will Young and he ended up winning.

"I cannot sit back and rest on my laurels. I cannot sit back on any song any week."
