THE Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has joined with Porsche to call for a judicial review of the EUR31.50 (pounds 25) congestion charge that is being proposed for larger vehicles in London. Porsche is challenging the proposed increase as it believes the congestion charge is unfair and discriminatory.

Commenting on the news, Andy Goss, managing director of Porsche Cars GB, said; "I am pleased that Kensington and Chelsea has joined us in our fight against this unfair, counter-productive tax against motorists. It is becoming increasingly clear that Londoners are rejecting this unfair pounds 25 charge that will likely make congestion and the environment worse than it is today."
