REAR VIEW Mirror: I'M CALIFORNIA DREAMING
0 Comments | Sunday Mirror, May 18, 2008 | by Brian Twomey
AN all new Ferrari has been unveiled. The California model uses a 453bhp 4.3-litre V8 and straddles a new segment of the market for Ferrari, more of a Grand Tourer like the 612 but around the same size as the smaller F430.
The car is seen as being a more direct competitor for cars such as the Aston Martin DB9 with greater comfort and useability than the hard-edged F430.
100km/h in four seconds means that it is a Ferrari alright while the company claims it is the greenest Ferrari yet with emissions at 310g/km of CO2. The car gets ceramic brakes and adjustable traction control as standard.
