RADIO king Terry Wogan has presented his last Eurovision Song Contest according to punters, who are piling money on the 69-year- old to announce his retirement.

Bookies William Hill said they have been receiving strong interest in him hanging up his microphone for good.

The odds of Limerickborn Terry not appearing next year have dropped from 4/1 to 3/1, while Jonathan Ross is the strong 7/4 favourite to replace Wogan as the BBC's voice of the contest.

William Hill's Tony Kenny said that as Tel will be 70 on August 3 he may be considering early retiriment.

"He has been presenting the Eurovision on the BBC since 1973, but punters believe that Terry has finally lost his patience with the Eurovision.

"Punters are also speculating about whether or not he will leave the BBC completely before he hits 70," he said.
