Irony Of The Classic Car Market

HERE'S the irony of the classic car market. Chris Evans paid pounds 5.5million for a Ferrari 250 GT California, once owned by actor James Coburn, making it the most expensive classic motor in history, yet in a couple of months' time Steve McQueen's '69 Porsche 908 Spyder is expected to make a mere pounds 1million.

For my money the Porsche is the better car. It starred with McQueen in Le Mans, can hit 200mph, is one of only 28 made, and boasts a superior pedigree with its multi-layered racing history. But here's the thing. A Ferrari is more fashionable, which is why it'll always break more records.
