REAR VIEW Mirror: TAX VERY MUCH

Sunday Mirror,  Jun 22, 2008  by Brian Twomey

FIAT have just launched a new, 1.6-litre 105bhp Multijet diesel engine which the company believes will benefit greatly from the July 1 VRT changes, thanks to its low emissions.

The new engine gives a 0-100km/h of 10.5 seconds yet combines this with low fuel consumption and 35,000kms service intervals.

The Bravo is on sale now at EUR19,995 (ex works) and will be in the lowest tax band, namely band A, after July 1.
