THE death has occurred of Dr Tim O'Mahony, chairman of Kileen Investments, the holding company for Toyota Ireland, Lexus Ireland, Ballylinch Stud and MountJuliet Estate. A lifelong sport lover, Dr O'Mahony was also a former hurler and footballer for Cork and Dublin. Toyota sponsors All-Ireland senior football and is also the sponsors of Munster rugby.

A patron of the arts, the main auditorium at the Helix Centre, DCU, is named in his honour. Dr O'Mahony, who was 77, is survived by his wife Maeve and his four daughters.
