EH-OH! A dome just like the Teletubbies' house has landed on top of a new block of luxury flats.
The design of the penthouse drew a Po-faced response from residents in a North Yorkshire fishing village, who reckon the architect has gone Laa-Laa.
Neighbour Liz Shipley, 59, said of the development in Whitby: "It's a carbuncle - a monstrosity. It is the first thing you see when you come into town. It looks like the Teletubbies have landed."
Unrepentant architect Stuart Duckett, who based the shapes on a mill that once stood on the site, said: "It's a design statement."
He added: "We are extremely pleased that the building has already become a topic of conversation."
