Qantas in alert No2

0 Comments | Sunday Mirror, Aug 3, 2008

A QANTAS jet with 200 passengers on board had to turn and return to Sydney yesterday as a new mid-air emergency hit the Australian airline.

The Manila-bound flight's pilot radioed an alert after he detected hydraulic fluid leaking from a wing, but landed without incident.

Last week an exploding oxygen bottle blew a hole in a Qantas jet flying from London to Melbourne.
