CHRYSLER have confirmed that it has held talks with the Fiat group about the possibility of using Chrysler plants to build Fiat cars in the US. Fiats have not been sold in the US since 1981, while the Alfa Romeo division dropped out in 1995, but the company plans to introduce the Fiat 500 and the Alfa Romeo range to US shores next year.
