pounds A QUARTER of Britons say they view holidays as more important than ever despite the credit crunch. Research by lastminute.com found that almost one in five Britons said that holiday sun boosted their mood as much as receiving pounds 10,000.
pounds ALMOST two out of three people who take out a loan to consolidate their debts go on to borrow more while still repaying that loan, according to a survey by moneysuper market.com.
pounds MIDDLE children are the most financially selfsufficient compared to their siblings, reveals a survey by Norwich Union. Only children are the worst when it comes to paying back loans from parents, with only one in 10 repaying borrowed money.
pounds MORE than one in 10 borrowers have missed payments on either their mortgage, credit card or personal loan in the last six months, says moneyexpert.com. At least five million finance-related bills have been missed, with credit cards proving to be the greatest burden.
