JOCKEY Davy Russell was the star of the show at Navan as he reeled off a superb four-timer.

The highlight of an incredible afternoon for the rider was the victory of Made In Taipan in the novices' chase.

The odds-on favourite made all the running to defeat the useful Follow The Plan.

Trainer Tom Mullins indicated that he will stepupto Grade 1 level at Leopardstown later in the month.

That trainer provided Russell with his final winner as the Paddy Power or Lexus Chasebound Chelsea Harbour defied top weight in the three-mile handicap chase.

Clan Tara struck first for Russell in the novice hurdle, while the jo ckey was at his most confident later when scoring aboard Nuvelli in the conditions chase.
