IAN WESTLAKE secured Cheltenham's first league win on their travels this season.

Barry Hayles broke the deadlock after four minutes, drilling home a left-foot shot from 20 yards.

Adam Boyd levelled from the spot after Drissa Diallo had fouled Dean Morgan in the box, and Town's away woes looked set to continue when Ashley Vincent was dismissed for a second bookable offence.

But Westlake latched on to Hayles' pass to give Cheltenham the points.

Cheltenham manager Martin Allen said: "In the last 15 minutes we put bodies on the line and defended well."
