MUST SEE

Living the Wildlife RTE One - Tuesday, 7pm

LET'S face it, we're all hoping we'll never have to watch TV again.

Which would be handy, as there's nothing on.

With a bit of luck the sun will keep on shining and we can all live outdoors permanently, existing on a diet of ice-cold beer and barbecued chicken, pausing only to rub a bit more factor into our golden, tanned shoulders.

But just in case those gorgeous blue skies do turn to grey, and that spot on the couch starts to look tempting again, here's the best of this week's TV.

Now if it starts to rain it'll take a lot to cheer you up, but don't worry, I've thought of that, and here's your answer - dolphins.

That's right, our friends of the sea, those loveable creatures we all pay a fortune to pet in some overpriced aquarium on holidays.

But did you know they also live in the seas around Ireland? Neither did I, which is why we need Colin StaffordJohnson to remind us about all the wonderful Irish wildlife we're missing out on.

Tonight he looks at the bottle-nosed dolphin, which lives in the Shannon Estuary, and the European eel, who admittedly sounds less cuddly.

But tune in and check out the gorgeous dolphins, and even if it's raining outside they'll cheer you up - look at their faces, they're already smiling.
