BRIT OF A RACKET
0 Comments | Sunday Mirror, Jun 21, 2009 | by Anonymous
PORTUGUESE starlet Michelle Larcher de Brito has hit back at her critics - and vowed to carry on grunting.
The 16-year-old newcomer's "Arrooous" are estimated to hit 109 decibels - as much noise as a Formula 1 car - and she was booed off at last month's French Open after making a racket.
But De Brito protested: "I am not the only one who grunts out on court.
"At the French Open they gave me a warning but it's part of my game - there is not a lot I can do about it. It's not something I could do without."
