Coca-Cola Femsa Operating Profit Up 14.6 Percent

Coca-Cola FEMSA, one of the global Coca-Cola anchor bottlers and the largest Coca-Cola bottler in Mexico and Argentina, has announced its consolidated results for the year ended December 31, 2002.

Consolidated unit case volume increased by 2.1 percent as a result of the 4.3 percent volume growth in the Mexican operations, which offset the 11 percent decline in the Argentine territories.

Consolidated unit case volume for the fourth quarter only increased by 4.9 percent as a result of 5.5 percent and 3.0 percent increases in sales volume in the Mexican and Buenos Aires operations, respectively. - (EMEconomy.com)
