Indiatimes & Mattel to create India's biggest online toy store

Indiatimes.com has tied up with Mattel Toys (India) Pvt. Ltd. to create and market the largest on-line toy store in the country. Mattel carries popular international brands such as Barbie, Hot- wheels, Fisher Price, and Star Beans.
Sangeeta Talwar, CEO of Mattel India Ltd. said, "Our tie-up with Indiatimes will facilitate our vision to make Mattel toys easily accessible to global Indian customers round the clock. Being the preferred website of majority of net surfing Indians we believe that this tie-up will strengthen our bonds with consumers."
According to Times News Network, Talwar said that Mattel Toys would also launch online auctioning of its unique toys that are not available through the ground distribution channel.
