$120 Million Invested In Russian Plastic Plant

Basell, the world's largest maker of polypropylene, and Italy's Tecnimont will cooperate to build a $120 million polypropylene plant in central Russia, according to an agreement signed by the companies.
Basell is a 50-50 joint venture between BASF, the world's largest chemical maker, and oil company Royal Dutch/Shell Group. Basell will supply technology and Tecnimont will deliver equipment.
The future plant will make 120,000 tons per year of polypropylene, which is used in the making of airplanes and cars. The unit will be completed in 2006. - (EMEconomy.com)
