China Has Highest Cement Output in World

China's annual cement production has exceeded 700 million tons, now ranking as the world's biggest producer.

This year, both output and sales of cement have grown rapidly in China. Many domestic cement plants have been equipped with larger production facilities, which helps speed production.

However, experts also warn of overheating investment in cement projects, pointing out that many plants are expanding their production scale blindly, which will make it more difficult for the entire cement industry to readjust its overall structure. - (EMEconomy.com)
