Macat (Xiamen) Sensor Component Company starts business

Macat (Xiamen) Sensor Component Company Limited was recently opened to business in China. The company, situated in the Xiamen's Aviation Industrial Park, has an investment of $12 million.

It is a subsidiary of the electronic unit of the UK-based Meggitt Group. The new company in China, which mainly produces high precision sensor components, will be an important manufacturing base of Meggitt in Asia.

Meggitt designs and manufactures innovative high integrity systems and components for the aerospace, defence and electronics markets worldwide. Aircraft primary flight displays, unmanned air vehicles, aircraft fire detection systems and automobile climate control systems are some of the market leading products produced by Meggitt.
