China's Yuanwang group orders broadband Internet equipment from Korea

Korea Telecom has signed a $30 million contract with a Chinese telecom firm, the Yuanwang group, to export its high-speed Internet equipment and services in the form of original equipment manufacturing (OEM), according to the Korea Times.
The contract was concluded at the opening of PT/Wireless & Networks Comm China, an annual telecom and electronics trade show in Beijing last month, KT said.
As part of its pilot operations, KT will deploy its asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) networks and related equipment and expand its commercial services on a gradual basis. -(World IT Report)
