China 3G Mobile Communications conference opens in Beijing

The third annual two-day China 3G Mobile Communications exhibition, organized by IBC-Asia, has opened in the Great Wall Sheraton Hotel, Beijing, China as of October 21.

The event will feature speeches by the heads of the Ministry of Information & Industry (MII), China Mobile, the China National Postal and Telecommunications Appliances Corporation (PTAC), Shenzhen Zhongxing Telecom, Hua Wei Technologies, as well as by representatives of multinaitonal telecom's including Siemens Mobile, Alcatel, Nortel Networks, Fujitsu, Qualcomm, Motorola and Amdocs.

The topics covered in the conference include China's 3G Market Development, expected changes in the 3G industry, 3G Standards & Technological Updates, plans of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), 3G billing mediation, multimedia application in 3G, M- commerce. -(World IT Report)
