Laiki Group to deploy VoIP network in Cyprus

Laiki Group, a leading financial institution based in Cyprus, is setting up a new voice-over-IP (VoIP) network at its Cyprus Popular Bank.

The Group will link more than 180 sites in the country over a single IP voice/data network, enabling significant reductions in operating and communications costs.

A contract to acquire Alcatel network equipment was announced in the framework of the project.
