DellSystems changes business development strategy in Russia

DellSystems, which markets Dell personal computers in Russia, has recently said that it is "changing itsbusiness development strategy." The company intends to shift most sales to distributors, retaining "limited direct sales" and focusing primarily on "promoting the Dell brand."
According to Kommersant, in 2001, Dell had only 0.81 percent of Russia's fast-growing personal-computer market. (Worlditreport.com)
