IBM New "Storage Tank" Technology to be Launched in Latin America in

IBM, the manufacturer of computer equipment and the solutions provider, is working on its new "Storage Tank" technology, which is a data storage solution.
This technology is designed for companies that require technologies to keep data that are more economically feasible and that are easier to use.
Michel Zisman, the general manager of storage IBM, Mexico, stated that the program, which will not be sold until year 2003. He added that the new technology would have open norms and technologies based on Linux.
The technology not only eliminates the barriers that are against the data access, but also open the door towards highly intelligent and profitable storage networks. -(World IT Report.com)
