Frontline's Thailand associate Logic wins contracts from AIS and TAC
World IT Report, Apr 9, 2003
Singapore-based IT service provider, Frontline Technologies Corporation said its Thai associate company, Logic Company, in which it invested US$7.18 million in April last year for a 30 percent stake, has won contracts from leading Thai teleco's Advanced Info Services (AIS) and Total Access Communication (TAC) during the years second half.
The contracts, valued S$7.5 million (US$4.08 million), include a mixture of IT infrastructure and outsourced services in BEA's Tuxedo and Java programming.
According to figures from the International Data Corporation ('IDC') released in June 2001, the Thailand IT market was projected to grow at compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.3%. This growth projection was higher than most other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong and Indonesia, which were expected to register negative growth. -(World IT Report)
