CRM to boost Singapore M1's customer service
World IT Report, Apr 10, 2003
Singapore's second largest mobile phone operator, Mobile1 Asia, is deploying a major CRM (customer relationship management) initiative to boost customer service and deal with the needs of a mature market, according to The Business Times.
In June, M1 said it would invest some US$500 million over the next five years to roll out its 3G services. About US$70 million will be spent this year, its initial year of investment.
M1 has a customer base of about a million subscribers - 34 per cent of the mobile market share. The company announced recently it is betting on MMS (multimedia messaging service), that allows users to send pictures and graphics files on top of text. - (World IT Report.com)
