15 Percent of Indian Surfers Use e-Banking

According to a recent study by IDC India, about 15 percent of Internet users in India are active Internet banking users, which is a little less than a million people.
The study also reveals that total number of registrations for Internet banking in India is over 2 million, however, including the multiple account holders.
At present the e-Banking population is 0.096 percent of India's total population, while markets like Korea and Singapore have nearly 10 percent of their population banking over the Internet. - (World IT report.com)
