Three Banks Launch Joint ATM Network in Singapore

HSBC, Maybank and Standard Charter have launched Wednesday Singapore's first shared automated teller machine (ATM) among foreign banks, according to Bernama.
The banks said they would establish their full quota of five off- site ATM accorded under the license and would avoid duplication of locations. They said that with the shared network, customers could access ATMs of partner banks in 54 locations and the number would increase to 69 once off-premise ATMs were set up.
Maybank, Malaysia's premiere bank has the biggest foreign bank network in Singapore with 22 branches and 24 ATMs. - (World IT Report.com)
