BARTA launches new program on business opportunities in China
World IT Report, Apr 10, 2003
The Bay Area Regional Technology Alliance, BARTA, has announced a new program, China Focus, for Bay Area companies exploring business opportunities in the new China. According to BARTA President Judith Pacult, China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) means it is likely to maintain the current 8 percent annual growth rate, creating an optimistic environment for California's high-tech and mid- level companies interested in establishing joint ventures and partnerships abroad.
"BARTA's China Focus program targets activities for California companies in China and Far East markets, and allows companies there to access California's best business practices," said Pacult. "China Focus provides business assistance, educational services, and value added business training for Chinese businesses to learn about funding, business models, business execution, and human resources issues." -(World IT Report)
