India's ESC mulling incubation center in Japan
World IT Report, Apr 10, 2003
India's Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) said it is considering setting up a technology incubation center in Yokohama, Japan, in order to help the nation diversify its global business and to develop Asian markets.
"The proposed facility is mainly aimed at small and medium enterprises in India which are constrained by resources for setting up software ventures in the expanding market of Japan," D K Sareen, Executive Director of ESC said.
ESC is considering Yokohama, a major Japanese high tech hub, since as many as thirty major Indian software companies are already represented in Tokyo. -(World IT Report)
