World IT Report, Jan 11, 2004
Starting next month, handset users of Shanghai Mobile Communications Co. Ltd. can directly print pictures they take by their mobile phones via a wireless connection with ATM-like machines in more than 400 Kodak outlets in the city.
According to Shanghai Daily, Shanghai Mobile, a branch of China's leading mobile operator, has declared that it agreed on an image print business alliance with Kodak China Ltd. to provide more services and expand its business.
Under the new technology, mobile phone users, who want to print out their pictures on their handsets, can go to a specialized machine in Kodak's outlets.
