Pleasanton's Creamer already a gifted golfer

Paul Creamer said on the golf course his daughter acts 25. Off it? "I think she's about 15," he said.

She's young enough to embrace a nickname -- "The Pink Panther" -- given her by a former classmate at the academy, 2003 U.S. Amateur runner-up Casey Wittenburg. Most days, Creamer is a vision in pink - - the grips on her clubs are pink, the ribbons in her hair are pink, her nails are pink, the main color scheme for her outfits is pink.

"There is no second-favorite color," she said. "Pink kind of reminds me of myself a little bit. It's very bright, and I'm very cheerful once you get to know me. Out on the golf course, though, I'm a totally different person; that's my job and I'm out there trying to focus and to win."
