DALY CITY -- Three pedestrians were injured Wednesday morning when the driver of a green Honda Civic veered onto a sidewalk and struck them, police said.
The Honda's driver was traveling west on John Daly Boulevard, but apparently lost control of her car at 8:21 a.m., as she attempted a left turn onto the on-ramp to Interstate 280. The pedestrians, two men and a woman, were walking to the nearby BART station when they were struck, according to Daly City police Sgt. Carol Sloane.
None of the three suffered life-threatening injuries, but all were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. One remained hospitalized Wednesday evening with a broken leg, Sloane said, but the other two were treated for their injuries and released.

Alcohol was not considered a factor in the crash, but speed may have been involved, Sloane said. The Honda also is being checked for possible mechanical defects, she said.
The 33-year-old driver, whose name was being withheld Wednesday, was being cooperative and was not cited, Sloane said.
She was very distraught, Sloane added.
