EVADNA KELLOGG "EVE"

Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2006 at the age of 94.

Loving wife of Walter T. Kellogg and the late Cuthbert Currie.

Cherished Mother of Judy (Greg) Johnson of Thousand Oaks and David Currie and girlfriend Marcia of Discovery Bay.

Devoted Grandmother of Amy and Gregory Johnson and Carrie (Clifford) Kalinowski.

Eve was born on January 11, 1912 in Willow Springs, Missouri. She received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Colorado and obtained her Master's Degree in Library Science at the University of Southern California. She worked as a librarian for over 40 years.

Eve was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Redwood City since 1944.

Friends are invited to join in a funeral procession Friday, July 14, 2006 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Rd., Redwood City for a Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, 695 Arastradero Rd., Palo Alto.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. following graveside service, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 178 Clinton St., Redwood City, CA.

LEE C. MARCHETTI

Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2006, at the age of 84. Lee is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, James Marchetti, her loving son, Jim Marchetti, loving daughter, Jan Roycraft; their respective spouses, Lacey and Steve; and grandchildren, Jimmy, Chris, Ryan and Kelly.

Lee was born on May 12, 1922 in San Francisco. She flourished as a devoted wife and mother. She was loved by many and was the consummate friend and confidant of those blessed with her acquaintance.

Lee was actively involved for many years as Secretary of the Sons of Italy and as a member of the Peninsula Italian American Social Club. Lee was an accomplished cook and shared a passion for travel with her revered spouse, Jim.

As a 40 year cancer survivor, she inspired all who knew her with her strength, confidence, determination and positive outlook. She will be sorely missed.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. at REDWOOD CHAPEL in Redwood City, and a Mass will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at ST. PIUS CHURCH in Redwood City. Burial service will follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.

NADINE J. SNYDER

nee OFFENBACH

Passed away on July 7, 2006 at her home in San Mateo after a long struggle with cancer. She was 78. She is predeceased by her sister, Elaine S. Segal and survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, David L. Snyder; her nieces, Connie and Susi Segal; her stepchildren, Bob and Renee Snyder and her stepgrandchildren, Penelope Sipl and David A. Snyder.

Nadine was born in Oakland, raised in San Francisco and was a longtime resident of the Peninsula. She was an avid golfer and loved the races. She was an active member of the Board of her homeowner's association for over 20 years, and was a faithful contributor to several philanthropic organizations. Her physical trials she faced with steadfast courage and without self-pity.

Services and inurnment will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Hills of Eternity, 1301 El Camino Real, Colma.

BETTY LOU SZUCH

Betty was born on March 5, 1930 in Oakland, California and passed away on July 3, 2006 at the age of 76. She graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland and was a longtime resident of Walnut Creek. Betty touched many lives with her gentle spirit, kind heartedness and warm smile. Betty was a retired secretary from Sun Life of Canada. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, her treasured pet cats and traveling.

Betty is survived by her husband of 22 years and dear life-time companion, James William Szuch. She was the beloved mother of their children, Kathleen Denise Szuch, Suzanne Renee Brown and James Jeffery Szuch and the cherished grandmother of Grant, Scott, Jack, and Ted Brown and Nicole and Danielle Szuch. She was the devoted sister of Patricia Green and David Mock, the treasured mother-in- law of Kathleen Ann Szuch and caring friend of Cassandra Gallien and Rafael Felisiano.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 2039 Mt. Diablo Boulevard, Walnut Creek. September 27, 1943 - July 6, 2006

Charlie passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2006. Beloved husband for 22 years of Frances Cronin Yandow. Beloved brother of Sheila Godin and Marilynn (Dede) Bell of Vermont. Loving stepfather of Patricia Menzel, Charles H. Bona III, Karen Grable and Laurene Sheridan and grandfather of 11 beautiful grandchildren. Son of Charles F. Yandow and Otha Janet Francis. Born in Claremont, New Hampshire in 1943, Charlie lived in Burlington, Vermont until 1966 where he worked for the New England Telephone Company. He graduated from Rice Memorial High School in 1961. He served in the Naval Reserve in Vermont from 1960- 1963. In 1967 he transferred to Pacific Bell Telephone Company in Redwood City, CA. In 2003, he retired after 37 years in the Telecommunications industry. Charlie was a member of the Men's Spiritual Support Group in Redwood City for 24 years where he attended weekly.
