LOS ANGELES -- Josh Shipp scored 18 points, Arron Afflalo added 17 and No.1 UCLA overpowered Michigan 92-55 on Saturday.

Darren Collison added 15 points and eight assists, and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored 13 points for the Bruins (11-0), who are off to their best start since the 1993-94 season, when they won their first 14 games.

Michigan (11-2) is off to its best start in 14 years, but the Wolverines were playing just their third road game. And they have beaten only two teams -- Davidson and Harvard -- with winning records.

Courtney Sims scored 13 points for Michigan.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Al Horford had 11 points and 11 rebounds in his return from a sprained ankle and keyed the Gators' (11-2) second- half run.

The 6-foot-10 Horford, cleared to play after a morning shootaround, dominated his matchup with talented 7-foot freshman Greg Oden.

Oden was in foul trouble much of the game and finished with seven points and six rebounds for Ohio State (10-2).

MADISON, Wis. -- Kammron Taylor scored 17 points to lead four starters in double-figure scoring for the Badgers (12-1).

Steffan Johnson had 16 points for Pacific (3-9), which has lost its last six games, a streak that includes three losses to ranked teams.

PITTSBURGH -- Sam Young scored a career-high 18 points for the Panthers (11-2), who bounced back from consecutive losses to ranked teams.

LAS VEGAS -- Nick Young scored 26 points, and the Trojans (10-3) took the third-place game in the Las Vegas Classic, handing the Shockers their second loss in as many nights after they had opened the season 9-0.

Freshman James Florence had 19 points for Mercer (5-6).

Blizzard postpones

Air Force game

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- No.24 Air Force's game at Northern Colorado was postponed because of travel complications from the snowstorm that hit Colorado's most populous region.

A makeup date has not been announced.

Air Force's next game is Thursday against George Washington in the opening round of the Cable Car Classic at Santa Clara.
