Topic: RSS FeedCar seat inspections free at Sutter Tracy
Oakland Tribune, Feb 13, 2007
The Tracy Fire department and Sutter Tracy Community Hospital will hold a free child car seat safety check today from 1 to 4 p.m. at the hospital, 1420 North Tracy Blvd.
The event is aimed at checking to see if children are safely belted in when riding in a car. A certified child safety technician will test the seat to make sure it was installed properly. Constant use of car seats can cause the seat to become loose over time and possibly malfunction in an accident.
All children born at Sutter Tracy are allowed to go home only if the parent's car has a properly installed car seat.
