Micro quake hits near Livermore

A small, magnitude 2.0 micro quake struck five miles southeast of Livermore at 1:53 a.m. Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The Livermore Police had no reports of damage.

The quake, which occurred at a depth of 4.3 miles was located near the Clayton-Marsh Creek-Greenville Fault which runs northward along the edge of the Alameda-Contra Costa hills toward Concord and Mt. Diablo.
